CHICAGO, IL - Five people were hospitalized after a school bus overturned on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Tuesday afternoon.

According to NBC Chicago, the incident occurred in the northbound lanes of the expressway near the 35th Street overpass. 

Three children were transported to Comer Children's Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Two adults on the bus were taken to Chicago Medical Center with minor injuries.
